Service includes rust removal & surface cleanup, repairing nicks or any other damage prior to the sharpening process on a belt linishing system. As with all other types of edges, care is taken throughout the whole process to keep the steel cool.

Depending on the type and intended purpose, the edge can be either a flat bevel, convex or in some cases a hollow grind.
