Straight Razors

Straight razors are sharpened on high quality Japanese made synthetic stones from Shapton.

The process begins on a 1000 grit stone before progressing to 2000 grit, 4000 grit, 8000 grit, 16000 grit and eventually the 30000 grit stone. On completion, the razor is stropped on a leather paddle.
