Lawn Mower Reels & Bottom Blades

The interaction between the individual spiralled blades on the cylinder (reel) and bed-knife (bottom blade)
 works in the same manner as the scissors. A less than sharp cutting edges will tear the grass rather than cut.

For the relationship between cylinder and bed-knife to be equal across the span and between each of the spiralled blades, grinding of both pieces are precise processes in order to achieve precision measurements.

We are equipped with custom built grinding machines capable of grinding cylinders and bed-knives from machines of all make up to 30 inches in length.
